NOTE
A hiring loop should make decisions easier
The useful part of a hiring process is not consistency for its own sake. It is faster, better decisions.
3 min
A hiring loop earns its keep when it reduces the number of decisions a founder must remake. The scorecard sets the bar once. The interviewer bench learns what evidence matters. The debrief ends with a real yes or no.
Design for the decision
Start with the decision deadline and work backwards. Every interview should collect evidence that moves that decision, not repeat a pleasant conversation.
